To streamline the process, we offer on-site HICAPS machines that allow you to instantly claim your rebate from your Health Fund. This means that your rebate amount will be subtracted from the total treatment cost on the day, leaving you responsible for the Gap Payment only. We are proud to be preferred providers for BUPA (Platinum Provider), NIB, HCF, Westfund, AHM, and CBHS.


We are honoured to offer exceptional dental care to our local veterans who possess a Gold or White card issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). The Government fully subsidises treatment for DVA card holders, ensuring their dental needs are taken care of. We kindly request that you bring your card to your appointment as proof of eligibility. At our practice, we support the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) by offering bulk billing services for all eligible children. Through Medicare, the CDBS provides coverage of up to $1,026 over a span of 2 calendar years for essential dental treatments. These treatments include check-ups, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, and extractions. It’s important to note that orthodontic and cosmetic dental work are not covered by Medicare under this scheme. In collaboration with your dentist, DentiCare offers a hassle-free interest-free payment plan through direct debit for your dental treatment. This payment plan provides you with the convenience of budgeting and paying for your treatment over a period. With DentiCare, there are no credit checks or complex finance contracts involved. Sunny Coasts Dental gladly welcomes patients who have been referred with vouchers from the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Services. Eligible voucher holders will not incur any additional expenses. When contacting us to schedule an appointment, kindly provide your voucher number over the phone for reference.
