Dr. David Baker (Principal Dentist)

Meet Dr David Baker. David graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and graduate diploma in Dentistry. Having worked in Private practice, he saw the need for a service dedicated to providing Quality Dentistry in an environment that is both caring and relaxed so that inspired him to open his own Practice in Toowoomba. After 7 years in Practice, David then relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast with his wife and three sons.

David focuses on educating his patients to enhance their own dental knowledge. His approach to Dentistry is a conservative one and provides his patients with minimally invasive and preventative dentistry solutions. David’s continuing education and participation in conferences and workshops ensures he stays abreast with the latest Dental technologies to deliver the highest standard of Dentistry to his patient’s. David enjoys all aspects of Dentistry with a keen interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology.

Outside of the clinic you will find David in his boat with his family, or 4×4 driving and camping, exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

dr christopher carter

Dr. Christopher Carter (Dentist)

Meet Dr Christopher Carter, or Kit, as his patient’s know him by – tried varied careers before returning to dental school as a mature student. Previous roles include paralegal, barman, doorman for the BBC in London and finally a tour guide in Europe, Russia and Scandinavia.

He graduated in 1996 from the University of Leeds in England, winning the prize for Clinical Dentistry and Certificate of Merit in Oral Surgery in his final year. Perhaps this is down to fate. He follows his grandfather and mother into the profession. Kit has a firm commitment to continuing education and an interest in advanced cosmetics procedures and creating new smiles.

Upon graduating, he worked in a couple of busy practices in West Yorkshire. He moved to Australia in 1999 and enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, surfing, skiing and camping.

Dr. Lauren Drury (Dentist)

Lauren is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who graduated from James Cook University in 2015, earning the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award in her final year. Before embarking on her dentistry career, she worked as a dental assistant, which ignited her passion for becoming a dental practitioner herself. Lauren travelled overseas for a few years to explore the world before returning back to Australia to start University.

With a diverse range of professional experiences, Lauren has worked full-time, and in locum and volunteer positions, in various rural and remote locations, including the Torres Straits, Far North Queensland, rural Queensland, regional Western Australia, and Timor Leste. She has practiced in both private and public settings within Queensland, Victoria, the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital, the Victorian Aboriginal Health Services, and served as a senior dentist in a community clinic in Melbourne.

Lauren takes a patient-centered approach, excelling in clear and empathetic communication to ensure every patient feels heard and understood. Professional yet friendly, she is meticulous in detail and genuinely cares about her patients’ well-being. Beyond the clinic, Lauren enjoys running along the beautiful beaches and swimming in the ocean. She has completed a few marathons and triathlons, and loves challenging herself by learning new skills, such as playing the guitar and speaking Italian. Lauren is now settled in the picturesque Sunshine Coast, where she is finally back home.

Dr. Linda Trang (Dentist)

Dr Linda is a dedicated and gentle dentist committed to providing high quality, personalised care in a welcoming environment. With a passion for patient education and a focus on preventive care, Linda works to ensure that every patient achieves and maintains a healthy, beautiful smile. 

After earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2009, Linda was drawn to the Queensland lifestyle and climate. She worked in private practice in Cairns, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast, and also has experience as a clinical tutor at Griffith University, before settling on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Whilst she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, her special interests are in preventative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, root canal treatment and dental implants.

Outside of the clinic, Linda enjoys going to the beach, mountain biking, camping and Latin dancing.
