Dr. David Baker (Principal Dentist)
Meet Dr David Baker. David graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and graduate diploma in Dentistry and was keen to start his career. Having worked in Private practice, he saw the need for a service dedicated to providing Quality Dentistry in an environment that is both caring and relaxed so that inspired him to open his own Practice. After 7 years in Practice, David then relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast with his wife and three sons.
David focuses on educating his patients to enhance their own dental knowledge. His approach to Dentistry is a conservative one and provides his patients with minimally invasive and preventative dentistry solutions. David’s continuing education and participation in conferences and workshops ensures he stays abreast with the latest Dental technologies to deliver the highest standard of Dentistry to his patient’s. David enjoys all aspects of Dentistry with a keen interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology.
Outside of the clinic you will find David in his boat with his family, or 4×4 driving and camping, exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Dr. Christopher Carter (Dentist)
Meet Dr Christopher Carter, or Kit, as his patient’s know him by – tried varied careers before returning to dental school as a mature student. Previous roles include paralegal, barman, doorman for the BBC in London and finally a tour guide in Europe, Russia and Scandinavia.
He graduated in 1996 from the University of Leeds in England, winning the prize for Clinical Dentistry and Certificate of Merit in Oral Surgery in his final year. Perhaps this is down to fate. He follows his grandfather and mother into the profession. Kit has a firm commitment to continuing education and an interest in advanced cosmetics procedures and creating new smiles.
Upon graduating, he worked in a couple of busy practices in West Yorkshire. He moved to Australia in 1999 and enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, surfing, skiing and camping.
Dr. Lindsay Toweel (Dentist)
Meet Dr Lindsay Toweel. Dr Lindsay is a dedicated dentist who graduated from Griffith University with Academic Excellence. She has over twelve years of experience in the dental industry, including professional qualifications in both dental assisting and dental technology.
She is an extremely caring and gentle dentist with a desire to change the world, one smile at a time. So she treats her patients like family, whilst delivering quality dental care in an efficient and professional way. Because of her friendly demeanour, she has built long-lasting relationships with all her patients over the years.
She has a proactive approach to dentistry and places a strong emphasis on prevention rather than cure. She aims to always explain all treatment options in an understandable manner, that meets her patients’ expectations and needs.
Her professional interests include aesthetic dentistry, prosthodontics, implantology and forensic dentistry.
Outside of the practice, she likes to spend time with her loved ones, keep active, explore the great outdoors, bake tasty treats and watch forensic crime shows.
Dr. Ashton Miller (Dentist)
Dr Ash graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry. Being awarded Distinction, The Dean’s Commendation Medal and The Prize for Clinical Dentistry. Ash prides himself on understanding and utilising modern dental practice, research, and technology to achieve the best results for his patients.
Ash is gentle and understanding in everything he does. Having grown up in the Philippines, working as a commercial roofer and being an avid traveller, Ash possesses a diversity of life experiences that enable him to connect genuinely with patients from all backgrounds. His approach to dentistry aims to offer patients the full breadth of treatment options available, whilst taking the time to help patients fully understand their possibilities and equip them with the knowledge to make a choice which suits their needs best.
Ash spends most of his free time on the water. He is an avid game fisher, free diver and boatie.
