Meet the Dentists. We know that the best patient experience comes from a genuine care and concern. Our goal is to ensure every appointment is comfortable, relieves any discomfort and gives you the smile you’ve always wanted!

Dr. David Baker (Principal Dentist)
Meet Dr David Baker, (known as Dr Dave to our patients), our owner and Principal Dentist at Sunny Coast Dental. David graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry.
After working in private practice, he recognised the need for a dental service dedicated to providing high-quality care in a welcoming, relaxed environment. This inspired him to open his own practice in Toowoomba. After seven successful years, David relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast with his wife and three sons.
David is passionate about educating his patients and empowering them to improve their own dental health and knowledge. His approach to dentistry is conservative, focusing on minimally invasive and preventative treatment options wherever possible. Through ongoing professional development, conferences, and workshops, David stays up to date with the latest dental technologies to ensure he delivers the highest standard of care to his patients.
While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, David has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, oral surgery and implantology.
Outside the clinic, you’ll most likely find David out on the water with his family, four-wheel driving, camping, or exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
